Liverpool Artists’ Network special Independents Biennial meeting at Tate Liverpool, Friday 14th September, 1pm – 4pm.
In partnership with Liverpool Independents Biennial we are holding this meeting as a Tate Exchange event, to give a flavour of Liverpool’s independent and artist led art scene and provide the opportunity for artists and arts organisations to informally chat, and build relationships.
The event will include short presentations from independent and artist led organisations based in Merseyside. If you’ve never been to a LAN meeting before, or you’re interested in knowing more about Liverpool’s independent art scene, this is a great place to start. For this meeting we are also advertising nationally, to invite artists and organisations from other cities to come and connect with us. We’d love to see this lead to collaborative work with artists and organisations from other areas.
More about Liverpool Artists’ Network
Liverpool Artists’ Network was set up in 2015 as an artist-led platform to connect the artists, art organisations, art venues, groups and collectives of Liverpool. The Network is a simple concept, it does not represent, endorse or advertise individual artists or organisations, but instead provides the means for these individuals to engage in discussion and plan work to collectively deliver art events across the Liverpool region. You can find out more on our website www.liverpoolartistsnetwork.org.
If you would like to attend this meeting please email firstname.lastname@example.org. It is a free event and open to all.
Venue: Tate Liverpool, Albert Dock, Liverpool, L3 4BB.
Date: Friday 14th September 2018
