HOW WAS IT FOR YOU??

LAN meeting,

Wednesday 1st September, 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm

The Ship and Mitre (upstairs function room)

133 Dale Street, L2 2JH

Here we are, stepping back into our new, vaguely normal post-lockdown world with the real life LAN meeting that you’ve all been on the edge of your seats waiting for! Or maybe not… maybe the pandemic gave you the chance to take up a new hobby and with your new jigsaw addiction now a top priority, LAN meetings are just part of a distant memory of the artist you used to be.

Either way, we want to know ‘How was it for you?’

This LAN meeting will be a relaxed, no frills, informal (as ever!) meet up, where you can chat to people one to one or stand up and say a few words to everyone if you fancy it.  We’re thinking of it a bit like a lockdown de-brief (although we realise the pandemic can hardly be described as over) but of course we also want to hear about all your hopes and dreams for the future. If you would like to stand up and say something on behalf of an organisation or just as an individual, please could you let us know.  We are more than happy with a few random impromptu speeches, in usual LAN fashion, but it’s also good to know how many people would like to address the masses… the masses being 5?… 45?  We have no idea how many people would prefer to be at home working on their jigsaws instead, so how many attendees we’re going to get is pure guesswork.  But we’ve all been embracing uncertainty for a year and a half now so we might as well continue!
